jnchristp
Hej, I'm editing a podcast at the moment. I really enjoy the different dragmodes for this. Shuffle L is great. It has it's quirks, but it works. One thing I'm not able to do is the following: Copy a region (like for instant with "silence"-noise) and insert this region somewhere and have everything automatically move to the right. Whatever I try, the new region is just pasted over the underlying region. Shuffle doesn't work in this instant. In PT when you are in Shuffle-mode it just does what you would expect: You insert a clip somewhere and everything moves to the right. But maybe I'm missing a function in Logic? Anyone? All the best Jan
David Nahmani
What you're describing is precisely what should happen when in Shuffle L:
jnchristp
Right, this works when you drag or cut with a marquee-selection. That's what I normally do. But when you paste a region with a shortcut, it doesn't work. Am I right?
David Nahmani
Ah my bad, yes you're right then.
jnchristp
So, there's one function we are missing. Time to use the feedback-page for Logic, right...
David Nahmani
Just now, jnchristp said: Time to use the feedback-page for Logic, right... I'm afraid so. I couldn't find a workaround for this one (other than dragging the region of course).
