djsnake
Hey y'all. There's this vocal effect that appears almost in every rock song do you guys know how to achieve it? Sounds like soft distorted, high end cut, overloaded kind of sound. Mine sounds different when i insert 'Overdrive' on vocals.. Here's an example, it's subtle but apparent in this one. https://youtu.be/1gDgmEABB9s&t=0m18s Thanks. Quote Hi Music Hi Flow
Solution David Nahmani Posted June 30 Solution Share Posted June 30 It's parallel processing. Main signal is clean and blended with a subtle amount of heavily distorted telephone-EQ megaphone kinda sound with a touch of reverb. Here's a quick way to get started: 1 Quote My new Logic Pro Book is out!
djsnake
Telephone EQ on Parallel sounds right. Thanks David ☮️ Quote Hi Music Hi Flow
David Nahmani
I ended up using the Megaphone EQ on my example. Same kind of curve: very limited narrow mid-band EQ. Quote My new Logic Pro Book is out!
