PMcC
Hi Folks, after dragging a folder of wav loops onto the loop browser I created an un indexed set of loops…cool. But these don’t follow tempo, they aren’t apple loops. is there a way to batch convert? Thanks!
polanoid
For this to work, Logic would need to find out automatically which tempo each wav file has, and how many bars/beats it contains. Not a trivial task, so I doubt this is possible Edited July 5, 2022 by polanoid

Great tool I've used for years to convert to and from many different audio formats including AIFF (Apple Loops) As for tempo embedding, you're looking for the capability to create an ACID audio file. I don't do much work in the area of audio loops but if you plan on doing a lot of that type of work then you'd probably want to consider something like Sony's ACID Pro which has now been acquired by MAGIX software as ACID Music Studio. It specializes in among other things, that specific type of task. You can get the Studio version for about $60 so you'll get a lot for a small investment. Only caveat is that it only runs on Windows so you'd either need a windows machine, run it in bootcamp or find some similar solution. If that's a problem for you, you could also try searching for ACID audio software for Mac as an alternative. Good Luck Edited July 6, 2022 by Maestro777
