Deif
As the topic says, is it possible to set Logic to automatically turn on Low Latency Mode as soon as you start recording? Thanks
fuzzfilth
No, because LLM needs to initialize upfront, and if you just so happen to hit Record while in Play, there is no time for that. Edited July 7, 2022 by fuzzfilth
guavadude
I never use LLM. I prefer to only use plugins that don't add a ton of latency. This way I can build my mix as I'm composing, start tracking and it always sounds the same. I'll put a limiter on at the very end which does add latency but if I have to go back to tracking, I delete the limiter, don't just bypass. Unfortunately in this version of Logic, the latency readout of plugins is not working correctly. I sure hope they fix this soon. You won't get an accurate latency reading in ms but it will still tell you the sample delay so you can do the math. There are plenty of great sounding plugins that don't induce latency and will let you turn the over sampling off during live playback.
