pinki
Hi I've just joined. New to Logic but not DAW's. I've just bought David's book- arriving tomorrow. I have a question: is there a shortcut to open the gui of an instrument instead of having to click on that double line icon on the channel? I know V does something similar but that doesn't work in the way I hoped...select a channel and open the plug-in gui? Thanks and looking forward to being a member here. pinki
Solution JakobP Posted July 19, 2022 Solution Share Posted July 19, 2022 Use this key command. You'll have to assign a key combination and/or midi event to use it.
pinki
Ah OK thanks! I searched under "plug-in" but missed that.

FLH3
Great tip! Now I've to find how apple translated this command in French (my language), specialy the expression "focused track". Everybody obviously understands what it means but sometimes Apple is quite, hm, poetic in translation. Yes, I know I should run LPX in world-standard-english, it's simple to do, but now I'm too used to it in my language and it will take months before I'll be confortable again... FLH3
And for those, poor French speaking people, actualy the setting already exists, You'll not have to program it: ⌥@ ("ouvrir/fermer la fenêtre du module d'instrument de la piste active").
