conanthewarrior Posted July 20, 2022 Share Posted July 20, 2022 Hi everyone, I recently added a powered subwoofer to my home studio when I got my M1 MacBook Pro 14 inch. I would like to be able to switch it on and off when I am listening for reference along with headphones, and other types of speakers like normal. The only issue is, the interface out goes to the subwoofers in, then the monitors come from the subwoofers out. I am using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 interface, The swissonic sub 10, to JBL LSR 305 MK 1's. Is there a way for me to add a switch in between the interfaces out and the subwoofers in, as then I could run XLR cables to the monitors as they take balanced TRS and XLR inputs? I just don't know what one of these would be called, so any help is much appreciated. Even if there is another way for me to do this, but all I can think is the first link from the interfaces chain to bypass with a foot switch.
