SashaL
Hi there, I use LPX to do live performances. I often use VSTis played through my midi controllers. Sometimes when I'm playing live one of my VSTis I need to start playback. Whenever playback starts the sound from the VSTi I'm actually playing abruptly stops without even leaving the tail. Same thing happens when playback stops (if my VSTi is latched to play a sustained note). I'd like to be able to play a VSTi and start/stop playback without playback affects my VSTi playability. How can I do it? Thank you in advance. Sasha
Alan Shields
Logic does not use VSTs or VSTis, you need to use AU plugins as this is the only format recognised by Logic. Most 3rd party plugins are available in multiple formats.

I know this is a long shot, but have you considered playing your multiple audio tracks by triggering them as samples from Sampler ? This does not require Logic to go into Play, no navigation necessary, can be any tempo you like, 99 stereo voices across 26 outputs should be sufficient for even elaborate playback needs.
