can you save patches with content?

i mean i have loads of tracks where i’ve recorded stacks of claps and id like to use them in new tracks without having to bounce out as audio. id like to be able to keep all the plugins on and just have them follow tempo to the new project.

OK, you mean tracks+patches. You can import tracks (the music) with their associated patch (the instrument which plays this music) from one project to another via the file manager.

yep i know that its possible to do that but would be great if you could save a patch and have the content / regions saved too. that way when you chop up a drum loop (for example) you can have the midi for it on the track when you import it.

would speed things up a lot.

The easiest way to do that is to create a MIDI region on a software instrument track, then drag it onto the Loops browser in order to save it as a "green" Apple Loops. 

Incidentally, I just spent the day making apricot jam (no pears, though). 😜
