Homebody Songs
I’ve been working on a parlour guitar sound, which is really nice but a little lacking in the low end. I’ve boosted about 1.5k at 450 but I’m reticent to do much tweaking to the natural sound. I’ve also compressed a touch, but again not much. Would any of you happen to have any suggestions for EQ approaches to bringing more body to this kind of guitar without taking away from the nice ‘stringy’ voice? Thanks in advance for any help! Atlas007
Have you considered subtly doubling it with an appropriate instrument (instead of, or with Eqing it)? Edited July 29, 2022 by Atlas007

I do of course mean 1.5db rather than 1.5k! 🤦♂️

That’s a good idea, Atlas007! I tried it but it was overegging the cake a bit in this context as the song’s pretty delicate. Still, cheers for the suggestion! 👍
