Hi everyone,

I have a big problem while i am recording the electric guitar with multi effect. (Model: Hotone Ampero)

The Wave of the guitar seems normal. But The sound seems to be disconnected and not stable.

Any suggestion to repair the guitar track? The track is very important for me.🙏

My set up as follow:

Electic Guitar-> Hotone Amepro->Babyface pro fs-> Logic Pro X

Not certain what you mean when you say that the wave seems normal but the sound is distorted. But for starters, I’d ask if you’d tried exporting that wave file out of Logic and then see if it plays in some other audio program and playback without the sound issue? Since you save the wave seems Normal.

Stating the sound seemingly to be disconnected and not stable can mean different things and since you’re using outboard hardware with corresponding plugin effects built in (Hotone Amepro); your issue may be related to the hardware and not necessarily having to do anything with Logic.

Isolate the issue and then you’ll know if this is an issue directly related to some aspect of Logic (e.g. latency issues and etc) or one of your hardware units.

I have exported the wave file but the problem persists.

I tried to replace the broken track with another guitar chord but it seem sound difference.

i tried to use the eq match & automation but still not smooth.

Any suggestion for the editing the broken track? =[

Since this is a live performance I need to fix the recorded track.🙏

Ok, so hearing you say the issue still exists after exporting the file says the problem may have already been introduced into the track while recording. But also seems now you're trying to dupe a live performance track with a retake and not getting an exact match; which is an entirely different issue. If the track was recorded bad and you're having a problem trying to recapture a live performance but unable to; that isn't an issue with Logic.

I can offer assistance to troubleshoot why your track has issues with sound; but unfortunately I can't help make a bad recording good.

You could download Audacity if you don't already have it or use some other software and try recording the guitar track again using the same hardware and multi-effect setup to see if you get the same result.

E.g. Electic Guitar-> Hotone Amepro->Babyface pro fs-> [Audacity or some other DAW]

If you get the same disconnected sounding audio, it's your hardware. If you don't then we can suggest some ways to prevent it from happening in the future.

Unfortunately, though you may be able to patch up a bad recording; you can't really undo or fix it.

Good Luck
