prfektstranjer
Scenario: Song created in Logic with tempo set at 90 bpm. Drummer recorded midi drum track listening to project and recording on separate computer, but with project set at 120 bpm. Now when I receive midi tracks and import into the main project (still at 90 bpm) drum track slows down and doesn't line up. The takes sound great and I'd like to use them but need to solve the tempo mismatch issue. What is best solution to get drums to line up with project recorded at 90 bpm. (I'm guessing this involves Smart Tempo, but haven't got it to work yet). Thanks for any help.
JakobP
I would try to temporarily set your project to 120bpm, import the midi, smpt lock it, and then change the tempo back ?
Solution David Nahmani Posted August 14, 2022 Solution Share Posted August 14, 2022 You could also try to Option-resize the MIDI regions to time-compress them in order to speed them back up to their original tempo.
