Listening between A / B in Logic

Sometimes it can be fun to do a "blindtest"; select one of the tracks, cmd+shift click the "m" button on it (to mute all), press "m" to unmute (again) the selected track, then select the other track, close your eyes and toggle the "s" button... :)

EDIT Found that cmd+clicking the "m" button is enough to mute all tracks...

NICE!

In fact if you have only two tracks, track A and track B, then:

  1. Mute track A,
  2. Click the Solo button on track A to toggle.

Mute Track B

Play

Hold Option down and Click the Mute Button on the Track Header of Track A

and so on back and forth for A/B comparison.

This method has the advantage of allowing other tracks to be heard at the same time as whichever track you unmute.
