Plogicx
Hi there everyone hope you are well, Been a while since i posted here, but used the forum a while back and got really good help. Essentially I haven't used Logic Pro in a while, and since a year ago or so I bought an M1 Mac mini. I was wondering, is it possible to transfer my plugins over to the mini from my macbook pro? I have a range of plugins such as; 1) Initial audio 2) akai professional 3) AIR Music Technology 4) Cableguys 5) Linplug 6) Singomakers 7) SONiVOX 8) Serato 9) Ample Sound plus some others. Is it possbile to move these over to my mac mini m1? if so, how do you go about it? appreciate the help
fisherking
best thing would be to download the latest versions from each developer. many should be silicion-ready. plus... what OS is the mini on you should install the latest logic as well, so everything is up-to-date. just make sure you have serial #s, license files, etc....
des99
Agreed. While it is possible to copy/transfer your existing files, plugins often have other files and support content all over your computer (samples, documentation, preset files and so on), so it's best to install clean on the new machine, to make sure each software has everything it needs in the correct places.
