edurbrow
I tried searching for the answer before this post, as it has happened to me before, but I couldn't find an answer. I had to go in and re-record one tiny section because flex really didn't work on it. Somehow, I must have hit something after placing it, everything is muted except for one soundbite. edurbrow
I see I hit S, which is the Solo tool. I still can't get everything to sound whether I hit cmd-S again or click or choose another tool.
edurbrow
I finally just closed the file and reopened it and it was okay. But man, that is the tool from hell. Select it accidentally and you'll never get out!
David Nahmani
It looks like Solo mode (Control-S), which soloes only the selected region(s).
des99
Note: When your control bar display is shown in yellow, as in your screenshot, you're in one of the Solo modes, so that gives you a clue as to where you are, and how to get out of it. The default US key command is Control-S to toggle that mode off and on. Give it a try: when Solo mode is on, only the selected regions are soloed. Come out of whichever solo mode you are in, whether it's region solo, track solo or channel solo. If you want to not what key commands to use, go to your key commands window and search for "solo", there you'll see all you options and key commands for the various solo modes, however they are set up on your system. The exact command to use varies on which solo mode you are in.
David Nahmani
There's also a big "S" button in your Control bar to toggle Solo mode:
JakobP
Have you considered locking your cat out while making music ? Every thing is muted
JakobP
If you need your cat with you for inspiration, then one workaround would be moving your keyboard more to the left, making your cat enable flex view (cmd+f) instead. Others might chime in with even better solutions...
