Plogue sforzando for old cakewalk dimension sfz files?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used plogue sforzando? Specifically, for dim pro would be awesome.

Anyway: does it work; is it safe? I see plogue around periodically, but don't use anything from them, and am VERY cautious with installing anything, but I'd like to see if I can load some of these, and start to migrate them elsewhere, and of course Dimension Pro doesn't work anymore... sigh 😞 (and hasn't for years).

Thanks in advance if so

I use sforzando for opening .sf2 and .sfz files without any issues for years.

Not the best sampler, obvioulsy, and its gui is limited but it's a free, decent and sometimes usefull tool for reading some libraries.

I should say TX16Wx, from Cwitec and free as well, is maybe easier to use when you want to edit sfz or sf2 files

Excellent.

Yeah, I see it looks limited. All I'm really wanting to do is run through the cakewalk samples and find the ones I want to import into Sampler or Kontakt or SampleTank or something.

I didn't know about the others. I'll check them out.

Thanks so much
