Cam920
I want to be able to have the cycle count on for a period of time to record guitar and then record another layer of guitar over it. - but without having to stop the recording and create a new track. It seems like this should be simple, but I'm having a hard time figuring it out. I see the recording options for audio tracks - but the only option that is close is "Create new track and MUTE". Extremely frustrating, because this is precisely what I want - Just unmuted! I like to play guitar and then record a solo over it. But having to stop and move to the next track and begin recording again gets annoying, and can ruin my workflow. What am I missing here? Any help would be outstandingly appreciated! -Cam
polanoid
This (essentially a Looper functionality) is unfortunately not possible in Logic (i.e., Logic is unable to play back the audio file that is currently being recorded before the recording is finished).
David Nahmani
Here's a good thread on the topic: Here are more threads related to looper functionalities in Logic Pro: https://www.logicprohelp.com/tags/looper/
