David Pickell
Hello, recently on Mac M1 (os 12.2.1) and 2 quirks have emerged - 1) audio recording: when I punch in on a track the old audio keeps playing (ouch) 2) midi recording: when I 'capture last take as recording' it merges the new take with midi already recorded (ouch again) I sense these are little settings which have been erroneously set to new defaults, but I have had no luck in eradicating these unhelpful quirks. I hope this is clear, and I appreciate in advance any insight to correct these. Regards,David
Atlas007
Have you checked in the recording settings?

Manually? Auto-Punch? Allow Quick Punch-In active or not? Auto Input Monitoring active or not? Also, which Logic version are you using?
