Apple Account was disabled in Apple store

Recommended Posts

FYI:  Apple is very protective of "Apple ID's," which of course are fundamental to their on-line business activities. They now strongly encourage the use of "two-factor authentication" where they text or email a secret code to you.  It is likely that they will one day mandate this practice.  If they have any suspicion of unintended or unexplained activity, they will immediately and pre-emptively lock the account, then wait for you to contact them.

Apple does not have a reputation for fraud, and they intend to keep it that way.  They do this for the same reason that your credit card provider sometimes does: to protect "both of you."
