Walnut
Hi, I have a question becasue I cannot figure this out. I have setup my midi sustain to control record (Great) Although I would like to switch between using it is a regular sustain pedal. I figured out that I can use a key command to bypass all control surfaces, however, I would like to toggle this on and off or setup a key command to switch to different control surface profiles (If I can do that) Because once I have pressed bypass control surface commands I have to then go back into control surfaces via menu and turn it on. I hope it makes sense what I am looking to do. This just helps my workflow and allows me to make quick recordings and I love using the susatin pedal as a trigger for this. You shouldn't need to go through the menus, that keycommand is an on/off toggle, so just hit it again ? Of course you wouldn't be able to do the "unbypass" using a controller assignment, if that's what you mean... What key combination are you using to execute it ? Edited December 10, 2022 by JakobP

JakobP
That's the default for open the keycommand editor, might have a conflict there ? I have mine set to ctrl+opt+cmd+k, and it toggles here... What OS and Logic version are you on ? Edited December 10, 2022 by JakobP

I deleted all key commands and created my own. Since I switched from Cubase I needed to do that.
JakobP
Ok... so you're saying the command works when bypassing, but it doesn't "unbypass" when hit again ? What about your versions of OS and Logic ? (I edited my previous post asking for it)

JakobP
Ok. I'm on an older system. Often there are new key commands added with a new Logic version, you might be in luck and find something like "enable all CSs"... 🙄 Can anyone else confirm that this keycommand doesn't toggle anymore ? Walnut
I reassigned it and now it appears to be working. Although it takes a second for whatever reason. It is working at least though. That is the good news!
