EdwardJC
Hello everybody, I just started having this issue where the navigation bar at the bottom of the LPX screen has disappeared. Here's a screenshot with an arrow pointing to the area where you normally navigate horizontally... Any ideas what could be causing this? Maybe I clicked on something inadvertently Thanks! EdwardJC
Update: The audio file import feature also stopped working a minute ago (won't import an MP3 like it normally would). Seems like some kind of a corruption. Maybe a reboot will fix the glitches. Will try that Edited December 10, 2022 by EdwardJC
Solution EdwardJC Posted December 10, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted December 10, 2022 After reboot thankfully the navigation bar is back and audio file import (MP3) is working again too... I was in the middle of a massive cloud upload so I wanted to try to avoid turning off the computer and see if there was some other fix until the upload was done. Don't know what caused the glitches but they affected all the projects I had opened. Fingers crossed it's just a one-time thing
wonshu
A quick side note because I know how terrible it is when a large upload gets interrupted or I have to interrupt it. I split all of my uploads into Segments of 1 GB. I find all cloud services perform much better when downloading or especially uploading in a browser. I get way fewer interruptions and if I do, then whatever segment is already uploaded doesn't have to be transferred again and I can just continue where I left off. We use Keka to create segmented archives.

I often upload a handful of subfolders at a time instead of one massive folder for that reason
kukavain
Having the same problem with the navigation bar disappearing. My workaround is to close and open the mixer and hovering over where to navigation bar is supposed to be. This usually makes it appear, but only for a brief while and I need to be super quick to grab it before it disappears again. This happens despite multiple reboots. What to do? My method is to use an input device that allows me to scroll without having to drag the scroll bars. I use a trackpad and have it set up so that I can drag with two fingers to scroll left and right or up and down. Otherwise, you can go to your System Preferences and under General, make sure you have "Show scroll bars" set to "Always":
