I see that I can add custom tags, ratings and even add new categories (for example if the preset is set to Lead, I can add Bass as well) to factory presets.

If I decide to format my computer and then I transfer the Alchemy_Preset_Ratings_And_Tags.db file to the new computer, will Alchemy keep that customization of the factory presets as well?

Yes, you can easily test this out by running Logic in a new User account without that file, then copy that file from the regular account to the new user account, and check again in Logic that what you expect is there.

That's a good trick. It worked. Thanks.
