Harriet
In linear view, at the top display level, I see a grey horizontal line between each staff and the next one. Also, there are bar numbers for every staff, even though I have checked "Top/bottom staff only" in the Bar Numbers section of the Numbers & Names tab in Score Settings. In wrapped view (and page view), the grey lines and the extra bar numbers disappear. Is it possible to get rid of them in linear view? David Nahmani
Hi Harriet, can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Harriet
Hi David I've seen videos in which it looks like this, so I fear it must be normal and unchangeable. I think it looks awful.
Solution David Nahmani Posted February 3 Solution Share Posted February 3 Oh I see what you mean now. So unfortunately I don't believe there's a way to get rid of it, that's the way linear view displays regions: as highlighted portions with rounded corners - which probably makes more sense when you're working with multiple individual regions as it makes it easier to identify them:
Harriet
Thanks, David, that's what I suspected. Unfortunately I don't like working in Page View or Wrapped View. I think I might give up on the Score Editor and just use Sibelius or Dorico.
