PMcC
Is it possible to split a stereo track into 2 (l/r ) mono tracks? Thanks PM
Justin-Ch
Most basic audio editors can do this. Amadeus & AudioFinder are the two apps I use for this although it might not be a feature in their free demo modes. I'm sure Logic can, probably from somewhere in the sample editor window. Otherwise you could try panning your audio file hard left or right. Have that playing through a bus set to mono & bounce. (I think that will work. Don't have Logic here now to check but give it a try & let us know.)
whazymac.com
Under "edit" in "Audio Bin" you'll find "Disconnect Split Stereo File". That'll separate them!
Eric Cardenas
Under "edit" in "Audio Bin" you'll find "Disconnect Split Stereo File". That'll separate them! Yes, but first you must use the copy/convert to change the stereofile from interleaved to Split.
