You once had a MODEL D connected and had set up a MIDI Instrument in the Project for it. Now the MODEL D is no longer there and thus the MIDI Instrument rightfully doubts its raison d'être.

Open the MIDI Environment (cmd-0), go the MIDI Instr Layer and end MODEL D's misery by deleting it.

Sweet, thanks! Had looked in environment but apparently not well enough.  
never had a model D though 🤷‍♀️
