Can't audition audio/apple loops while song is playing

Sort of at a loss on this one. If I stop playback I can play audio loops from the loop browser but when I resume playback nothing happens. Any ideas why?

I remember this was an issue in earlier Logic versions but this was resolved in more recent versions.

Interesting. I think it's actually a Logic 8 or 9 file that I recently opened again. It was a mess when I opened it in 10.7.5.

Ah yes that's likely to be the issue. Do new files started in the current version work as expected?

Yep. The only issue is playing loops from the browser while the transport is running.

I mean can you make that issue disappear when starting a new file from scratch, from a new empty project?

Oh yeah, everything works perfectly in 10.7.5

Ok good, then yes it's a know issue with older templates/projects unfortunately.

Just a quick FYI: I've encountered this issue recently (i.e. 10.5+) on a couple of projects so it could be that the bug has resurfaced.

Actually that sounds right about when the bug was around.
