I am a relatively new Logic Pro X user. I am experiencing problems with my Logic Pro X when I start to play or record in a project, the audio randomly mutes then comes back and mutes again, does not allow me to do anything. I have tried freezing all the tracks, but God did not help I've also tried to record right on my desktop in a folder on the C drive which is an SSD, but that was also not helpful. Can you please urgently provide any tips or suggestions?
Can not figure out the reason. Please help. 🙏

Have more than 230 GB of disk space on my SSD.

And by the way, I record to an internal second 1 TB SSD. I have tried recording in a folder on my desktop, which means my C-Drive SSD and have the same problems

Any tips, please?

Did you check if it's your audio hardware, i.e., does the problem occur as well when you record and play back using built-in audio?

Also, does this happen in a fresh new project with no Audio FX plug-ins?

Thank you for the tip. Further,,,, I am using this Hardware MOTU Hybrid with Logic Pro X on MacBook Pro with macOS Mojave. While playback or recording in Logic Pro X, Project stops, and audio mutes by itself. Comes back after stopping playback or recording. If I turn off the MOTU Interface and use the output from the earphone jack then the project plays fine. That is what tells me that it is something to do with MOTU Hybrid Mk3. My work has completely stopped, that is why could use urgent help, please.

Maybe you should also try to contact MOTU support then

I opened a ticket. They are taking their time.

Did you try factory resetting the Motu?

I open the support ticket with motu. Waiting for answers. But I do have a new development. Somebody suggested I should disable control services under preference under logic pro x which I did and my project works absolutely fine. Which is a good news of course. But I still need to use my Mackie surface for ease of operating and mixing.

Thank you for your response. No, I did not try that for the reason I was too scared. I also wrote to MOTU support, opened ticket but that was useless, they never responded. But I have a new development a member recommended me to go to logic pro x preferences and disabled control surfaces. I did that and after that my projects are working fine. I will keep on aggressively using my DAW, and as soon as I feel sure & comfortable about the reliability, I will take the next step. As I eventually I do need to use my magic control surface
