jasonhou
Hello, I'd like to change the velocity of a midi performance, keeping the relative dynamic (velocity) relationship between each note but have a softer beginning and louder ending. This is easy to achieve in Cubase by dragging the handle of a midi clip but I struggle to achieve the save effect in Logic. Just wondering if it's possible in Logic at all. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

(relative crescendo) function in midi transform. (I vaguely recall having read that it's possible to do it in piano roll with some modifier(s), but couldn't find it)

Never thought it's so easy. Thanks a lot for taking the time to demonstrate.

In Logic9 I had to select the pencil tool, then press cmd and to what you've done. In X, this creates just chaos. Nice, that I do not have to switch tools now. 🙂

JakobP
You also need to have the command tool assigned to pencil I believe...

JakobP
Ok.. Tried again, and it worked .(Never really understood how to edit velocity in that pane, simply drawing with the pointer tool does unexpected things here) 😄
