fab30
1. Has the procedure for freezing changed? I freeze, and then can make any changes I want. How do I even know that it's frozen? 2. And is there any indication in the mixer that a track is frozen? ty Kaiser Edited February 16 by fab30

No. 1 hour ago, fab30 said: I freeze, and then can make any changes I want. How do I even know that it's frozen? There are freeze buttons that indicate the freeze status in the main tracks area. They have different colours for source-only freeze (eg, freezes the software instrument, but leaves the other plugins etc on the channel live), or regular freeze (freezes all plugins on the channel). 1 hour ago, fab30 said: 2. You will see the plugin slots dim though if the track is frozen, and you'll see the mouse cursor turn into a little cute snowflake when you hover over a frozen plugin slot.
