mattrixx
How are y'all implementing the new improived Busses (aux) to help route audio while mixing? Any and all other mix tips encouraged... Going against how I used to work (with large environmental templates), I have been going with the way Logic 8 manages the audio system... I am really starting to like it. Roger Paolo
the only thing I find a little bit confusing is the fact that 1 aux can exist more than once in the mixer. I always used a track in the arrangement for my group buses. so for the drumkit I used a stereo bus which I inserted in the arrangement as a track under all the drumsounds. My mixer was then organized, the group bus appears next to all the drum faders. in 8 this is also possible with the aux channels, but when you assign a track in the arrangement to an aux channel 2 instances of this aux channel appear in the mixer.
