Dmitry S.
Any ideas why Logic doesn't have a shortcut option for changing value of a single step in the Step Sequencer? There is a shortcut for changing value for all steps in the row, but what if i need to set accents without having to move my hand to the mouse every few steps? Is there a way to make it possible? Thanks.
Dmitry S.
Okay, how about changing velocity of a note in Piano Roll with a shortcut? Edited February 20 by Dmitry S.
David Nahmani
You may want to explore Hammerspoon — here's an example where @Jordi Torres uses it to switch the count-in value in Logic Pro:
Dmitry S.
Thanks for your suggestion! Do you mean it can be used to make an assignment for a Velocity bar that is related to a single midi note and then trigger it with a shortcut? If so I think it would be a great method! David Nahmani
I haven't experimented with it myself so can't say for sure, but it looks like a great method for creating shortcuts like that.
Jordi Torres
Hey guys, How about just using the Increase / Decrease Last Clicked Parameter by 1 / by 10 like this guy said back in 2015? 😅: On 2/18/2023 at 10:43 AM, Dmitry S. said: a shortcut option for changing value of a single step in the Step Sequencer? They work with that too. Check your Key Commands window in Logic as the assignments may be different on your setup. J.
Dmitry S.
If I were a developer of Logic I would add shortcuts for +/- 1 velocity value and +/- 10 value as well. Strange it didn’t come to their minds yet.
