jeffc2000
I use a presonus 26c audio interface. I connected my mic using xlr connector on front of 26c. I added a 'mic' track in Logic Pro using input 1-2. In the Logic Pro track channel I have it set to 1-2, stereo, but it only shows input level on left side. I have pan set to the center position. It is only recording the mono in such a way that the output only goes to the left side. How do I convert the mic line to a stereo (center pan) input so the recording and output is stereo? Solution jeffc2000 Posted February 23 Author Solution Share Posted February 23 (edited) After some further investigation, I think I can answer my own topic: Since the line in is mono on input 1, I need to set the channel up that way. So the recording is mono, but now the output is stereo, and that is what I needed to have happen. if I understand it right, since previously I set the channel to input 1-2, and there was no activity on input 2, it was silent, so the stereo output was silent on input 2 (right pan side of the track) Edited February 23 by jeffc2000
