jan
Hello guys! I am brand new user of this wonderful forum and I have couple questions and will really appreciate for any help. I am dj (27) from Prague (EU) and I would like to study music production. Also trying to setup my home studio and here are my questions. ARE THERE IN THE U.S. ANY SCHOOL I COULD STUDY LOGIC STUDIO FOR LIKE 1 YEAR? I took music very seriously cause music is the only thing I love but djing is not the only thing I would like to do for my whole life. IS THIS SETUP COOL? Wanna buy: Macbook Pro, HD "30 display, Adam P-11 monitors, M-audio Keystation 61 or 88. Sorry if my questions sound cheesy, I am begginer of the studio equipment and even in Logic. Thanks to all who help! Jan from Prague
Dr.Frank
You may want to take a look at the production courses, they are very good. http://www.berkleemusic.com Frank
Spunkadellic
dont waste your money on a apple moniter...i just bought a samsung 24" for $450 u.s. i assume the m-audio is a midi controller - thats fine dont buy a m audio audio interface...they are cheaply built if you only need to record 2 channels at a time, i reccommend apogee duet www.apogeedigital.com or a motu interface if you need more inputs check mackie - they just put out a dj audio interface - you might love it.. www.mackie.com look around los angeles for a good 1 year school....search "MI" (musicians's institute) in hollywood california i hear there is a great one in arizona....i forget the name...sorry ....and prague is AMAZING
