AllTheButtons
I'm trying to make an Articulation Set for Bolder Sounds Bluegrass Banjo, but it doesn't have any keyswitches for its default articulation - it just assumes you will have let go of the key switches. I've been setting up the key switches as Momentary, and I've created a blank articulation for 'normal', but in the Piano Roll I just can't get it to return to its normal state reliably. Is there a way to force 'no articulation'?
Gargamel
Articulations have their own column in the "Event List". With your region selected, you should see all its different articulations in that column. Now "select all". Click/hold any articulation in the list. Now you get a drop down menu with all articulations including "–", which is no articulation at all.

In my experience, selecting "-" (no articulation) is identical to selecting the topmost articulation. I've tested this in different instruments, and even edited the articulation plist file to put a different articulation in the first position. Always, choosing the top named articulation, or choosing the dash, has the same effect. But my issue was more about what to do when a Kontakt instrument has no "default" articulation as such. It just has momentary modifiers. How can I formulate an articulation to force it back into its default "nothing pressed" state?
