IK Multimedia Plugins will not load presets

Hello, I recently purchased the IK Multimedia Total Studio 3.5 bundle. The presets to all the instruments will load up in stand alone mode but not in Logic.  I have been around the block in my time, using Logic X for 15 years. IK has responded to all my emails but for crying out loud they can not tell me what to do. It has to be a permission thing, or a location thing. I tried putting the preset folder in with the Logic preset folders and nothing. Hopefully someone can help before I go jump off a bridge. Thanks.

Yes, rebooted many times. I also tried dragging and copying folders the different places. You would think that IK would have an immediate fix for this problem. I downloaded and authorized everything as instructed.

I have tried dragging the IK plugin folder{s} to the Logic plugin window. It does not solve the problem. The plugins will load, but no presets. In stand alone mode there are a ton of preset sounds and I really need them. Still trying. Thanks.

As Atlas007 said and could you also add your setup information: Mac specs, OS version, Logic version.

What Amplitube version are you running? I'm using version 5.5.4 and I am not experiencing any of your issues. All the presets available in the standalone version are available in the plugin in Logic.

Hi Alan, thanks for posting, I have stayed away from this issue for a while, I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner.  My Ampltube is 5.5.3. I am using Logic 10.6.3 and OS Catalina 10.15.7   I have not had this much trouble with a plugin since I was a Newbee almost 20 years ago. It has to be a recognition issue. I will apply any advice that you can offer. Thank you.

Hi Andy, sorry for taking so long to respond but I have been very busy lately and haven't had a chance to visit in a while. Unfortunately I cannot really offer any advice on this issue. I have used Catalina for a long time and also Logic 10.6.3 as well as Amplitube 5.5.3 and have never had this issue.

The only suggestions I can think of are things that you most likely have already done:

  • click on the 3 horizontal lines on the top left of the plugin. Then select the Account tab and click the Restore Purchases button.
  • Make sure that toneNET is active (green light not red) and try to download some presets with it.

As I said I won't be surprised if these were the very first things that you tried but I honestly have nothing else.
