Mamajolai
I remember seeing the “Do you want to automatically assign the controls" alert back when I had a Novation keyboard controller, is there away to get that to appear for the Korg nanokontrol2? Or has apple stopped supporting that function?
wonshu
Maybe you can find it in Preferences > General > Notifications You could try resetting all, if there is no entry for this particular question.
Mamajolai
No that didn't work, there IS a control surface support for the nanokontrol2 but I want the old behaviour: automatically assign.....so I can use it with smart controls automatically…
David Nahmani
Do you mean this dialog?
Mamajolai
I just realized there has to be a lua script for the the midi controller in order for the dialog to show, and no David, it's the dialog for when you plug a supported midi keyboard/controller…
wonshu
I know the dialog you mean. Perhaps try quitting Logic and moving your Logic preferences (~/Library/Preferences) to the desktop (or another folder), start Logic and see if it throws you the dialog then. com.apple.logic.pro.cs com.apple.logic10.plist Maybe that will bring it back.
