stephentrask
This may have been already discussed. I am so excited to finally have proper auxiallary tracks so that I can send my microphone signal, or guitar, whatever, to the aux, compress it a bit and then send it out a bus to an audio track. But there are no mono sends. So are we supposed to send out a stereo bus and then pan? That seems a bit odd.
LukeDunn
AFIK all the sends are mono (unless you choose to have the sends post pan). I'm assuming you are using LP8.. so you can go into your environment and make sure the bus and the aux tracks you want to be mono are mono.. and if the bus isn't there just add what you need. I hope this helps. Luke
stephentrask
I'll try that when I get to work today. My issue is with the outputs, however, not the sends.
David Nahmani
Choose a pair of outputs and pan (no need to send to a bus).
stephentrask
Thanks, David. You know, what I ended up doing, which is basically the same thing, is set the output to none and the volume to 0 db, then send from a mono bus with the send at zero o the input of the audio track. For whatever, this seemed to be the neatest solution.
