LP8. how can i slove this problem, i have 20 instrument tracks running wif plug-ins. When i tried recording just a vocal track the latency is just too great when i monitor. Can this be sloved. triplets Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 What's your I/O buffer setting? It needs to be around 128 for non-discernible latency. Also there are latency-creating plugins: Linear Phase Eq, Multipressor, Adaptive Limiter or any 3rd party plugin that has a look-ahead feature. Also if you're recording audio you should turn off Plugin Delay Compensation in Audio Preferences. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
shadowbox Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 Also makes sure there are no active latency inducing plug-ins on the track you are recording or the master bus. There are a few settings you should be aware of in addition to the buffer size. Go to the pdf manual in the help menu and search for "low latency."
