rinaldomerlo
Hi, I need to transfer my logic project to a format suitable for inporting to Pro Tool, so that I can have it mixed at the studio I want to. I don't want to use OMF as the OMF export removes all my logic plugins, so I lose all my autofilter, pitch automation and other stuff that I've got going on. The export all to audio files works pretty well but my stereo tracks are bounced to interleaved stereo. The logic manual says pro tools won't accept this and only accepts split L-R stereo. (a) is this true? and (b) how do I do it ? - the OMF export has the split-stereo option but the export-to-audio-files doesn't. Thanks in advance. crimsonnoise
Protools can't play back interleaved stereo files, but it can easily import them. It will simply convert them upon import to split stereo files.

Pro Tools will automatically convert the audio files for you into split stereo tracks. There is no degradation of the audio. Just be aware that exporting the tracks as audio will not render the volume and pan automation for those tracks. But it does record all other automation. Also and multichannel soft synths will be exported to one stereo file.
