Will turned down volume zero out plugin latency?

Certain plugins in Logic adds latency. Some of my tracks has such plugins added, they add quite much latency. In case I turn the volume down to zero on those tracks, will the latency disappear from the plugins on those tracks, or it will still be there, no matter those tracks are not audible?

No.

Yes.

You have to actually *remove* the plugin to reclaim it's latency. Or use Low-Latency Mode, to temporarily turn them off.
