I bought some loops I have option of Rex and Apple Loops. Question is...

Recommended Posts

I used to use ACID many moons ago and I would drag in a audio file and it would stretch it to the bpm. Fast and easy. Is there a way to do this in logic without using markers? Or a plugin that will do it? Or is there a program that does this I can wire into Logic?

Can you get both? For Logic Pro I would recommend Apple Loops, as that's what Logic Pro works with natively, however in my experience REX files work as well.

Hi David. I'm a new forum member, as well as a new Mac (M1 Mini) and Logic user.

Can you please help with my related issue? REX files aren't recognized on my Mac.

I managed to make the following installation:

  • "REX Shared Library" and "REX Shared Library.bundle" (latest versions from Reason Studios) are in Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/Rex.

Still, Logic does not recognize REX files.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How are you trying to use the files exactly? Normally you should be able to just drag and drop a REX files right onto an audio track?

I'm simply trying to drag and drop REX files onto an audio track. But Logic Pro won't accept the drop. A screen recording is attached.
