Scriabin rocks
Greetings Logicians, That controller keyboard is new to me, and I wonder whether some Logic users here have the same and might be willing to share some insights? For example, while the general use in Logic and with Omnisphere so far works for me, I am also new to the entire drum designer and AI drummer in Logic, and I am totally puzzled as to how you folks setup the Pads on the MKII to trigger drums or loops. David Nahmani
The first step would be to figure out what kind of MIDI events the Keylab's pads send to Logic? In Logic, click the little arrow sign to the right in the LCD display (in the Control bar) and choose Custom. Where it says "No in", that's a MIDI input monitor. Hit a pad. What do you see?
FLH3
I use a Keylab 61 Mk2 (And between you and me I'm not so happy with it... But this is not the subject). I use the pads for triggering keyswitches (usualy in the far bottom left of the keyboard). These pads can be set to send notes (gated or toggle), program changes, "switched controls"(=CC) or "preset changes" (change the preset of the Keylab) in the MIDI Control Center app.

Then the easiest way to deal with it would be to set up the Keylab to send the desired notes. Scriabin rocks
Umm. Thank you, many thanks for the replies and my apologies for not replying earlier, but something rather unpleasant has come up that prohibits me from having time for music at the moment I shall hopefully look into that in a while, however long it takes. Thanks a lot.
