LPKeys
I have this from a very old post, and I'm having a little trouble because some of the software wording has changed. Can somebody please update it for me? I've guessed a few times at what they would be, with no luck. I'm not seeing any split regions.... And selecting between locators, How? This is for MIDI, not audio tracks. THANKS! Set the locators for the range you want to copy, m65-73 iedit - Select All Split by Locators (SPLIT REGIONS BY LOCATORS?) Select Inside Locators (HOW DO YOU DO THIS? I HAVE 135 TRACKS, SO THERE MUST BE AN EASIER WAY THAN SCROLLING THROUGH ALL OF THEM) Edit - Copy Move your playhead to bar where you want to insert Edit - Cut/Insert Time Splice - Insert Snipped Section at Playhead This method insures that all global track tempo, transpose, etc., makes it into your insert and ends up in the right place. Hopefully. It can be persnickety at times. Edited September 15 by LPKeys
Atlas007
Have you tried with Arrangement Global Track?
Solution David Nahmani Posted September 16 Solution Share Posted September 16 Try this: In the ruler, drag a cycle area to position the locators around the section you want to copy. Choose Edit > Cut/Insert Time > Copy Section Between Locators. Position the playhead where desired. Choose Edit > Cut/Insert Time > Insert Section at Playhead.
LPKeys
Well, that was even simpler than I expected! Thank you, David! It sounds like it picked up automation, all the little things. I hope this thread makes it out there to the current Google search response for any lost souls out there 🙂
