globet
Say I have a cool MIDI region I really like and would like to use it for another project or recall it for later use. How should we do that? I really like this Tom's pattern and want to use it for later. What's the most efficient way to save this MIDI section and all the drum pieces / channel strips that is associated with it? Thanks guy. globet
We could, of course save it by bouncing it as audio loop but that's not editable unless you convert it back to MIDI again which can have issues. Further, the instruments that was originally associated with it is no longer there.
Solution David Nahmani Posted September 16 Solution Share Posted September 16 The easiest way is to drag the MIDI region to the Loops folder to turn it into a green Apple Loop.
globet
I’ve noticed there’s a “Save as a Performance” near the save channel strip settings drop-down. What is this used for?
David Nahmani
This allows you to assign a MIDI program number to a channel strip setting, so that you can switch channel strip settings remotely by sending that program change from an external MIDI device or controller.
