time-stretched region - how to revert to original

can i do this? am in the middle of a project... i slightly stretched a vocal phrase, now i'd like to put it back to it's original state. is there a simple way to do this?

(i should know this, and maybe i do, but not at this second 🤔)

How did you stretch it exactly? If you used Flex then you can turn off Flex (or Follow Tempo) in the Region inspector.

yeah, i uh... option-dragged the right corner. destructive, yes? anyway am working around it (but if there's anything else i should know, am listening...)

Yes, that's destructive however it creates a new audio file (and appends ".1" at the end of the filename), so the old, unstretched file should still be there in your Project Audio Browser.
