bmdeehan
How come when I go to my pop horn sounds in the basic library (not in the jampacks) the sound I get is an electric piano? Has anybody else had this problem? and how do I fix it?
Beer Moth
Probably a missing sample,EXS defaults to sine wave.
bmdeehan
Is there a way to fix it or was it missing on the installation cd? Thanks for getting back to me
ben parsons
are you sure it's not just a crappy "horn sound"? generally, i can't stand synth "horns".
Beer Moth
Apparently reinstalling the apps does the trick, but I've not got round to doing that yet. (Just the apps, not the libraries, unless I misread it.Do a forum search). 8)
bmdeehan
I'm positive, I hate synth horns too but this is definitely not that. I want to try to re-install the apps but I don't know how to do that without having to re-install everything. Is there a string somewhere that someone could forward me on to that would show me which things to check in the custom install pane?
Beer Moth
http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=14512&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=missing+samples&start=20 If you haven't already seen this thread. Pacifist apparently installs just stuff that ain't already there.
