loopmaniac
I have a project where I am changing bar 1 1 1 1 to display a different SMPTE time code in Settings/ synchronisation/ to match the timecode in the movie file I am working with. when I export the project as an AAF, this adjustment is not carried through, and the AAF project reverts to bar 1 1 1 1 as the default 01:00:00:00:00 This is causing an issue when sending through to a protools session and I wondered if there was any way of exporting the AAF to reflect the adjusted time code display of the original project so that this adjustment is transferred into the protools project automatically. The image shows the adjustment in the original project pre export. Any help greatly appreciated Logic 10.3.3 macpro 3.1 Edited November 20 by loopmaniac
Atlas007
Just out of curiosity, have you tried saving your project with the new SMPTE project’s settings before exporting? (Perhaps updating your system’s specs in your signature could be a good idea…)
loopmaniac
Project is setup and saved with the SMPTE changes before export yes. When I was made aware of issue at Protools end, I opened up the created AAF back into logic which is where I noticed it defaults back to 1 1 1 1 being SMPTE 01:00:00:00:00. Signature updated , it’s been a long time since posting on here, up to date now. Edited November 21 by loopmaniac
