james hancock
I’ve been using Sonar (I know —outdated) on a PC for years and want to go completely Apple (I have 8 iPads I use with my band) I’m looking to buy Logic Pro and want to know if my existing MacBook will work or if I need to replace it (and if I do replace it, what is best option for the money—-being a musician money is always tight) the one I have is a MacBook Pro 2.5Ghz quad-core intel i7, 16 GB 1600MHz DDR3, 500 GB SSD (390GB available), macOS Monterey 12.7.1 0n Sonar I’ve had projects with 40+ tracks. I would like to hear from users what you consider sufficient for good performance——including things like thunderbolt external SSD Thanks to anyone for their opinion ‘James
des99
Sure it'll work (up to Logic 10.7.9), although you might not be able to *buy* Logic on that machine, as the current version of Logic requires Ventura 13.5 or newer.
