Adjusting more then one velocity in piano roll

Hi,

I wonder if anyone knows how to adjust more then one notes velocity (for instance) at the same time in the piano roll?

When I select some and change it, it is changing depending on the original volume.

If you want them all to be the same velocity, select the notes...hold down shift and option while using the the velocity tool.

it does not work on mine.

I select them, use shift and object, what happens is- it changes just the velocity of the notes, but the one I am clicking on...

 

(Logic 8, maybe I need something like a key command adjustment or how do i do it?)

Shift-Option with the Velocity tool works here.
