michael.lee
It could be one of a thousand things. Can you be more specific? What changes between the logic playback and the bounced file playback?
SmoothGitar
If you're listening to the .wav/.mp3 files in iTunes then you may want to check the equalizor settings and make sure it's set on flat. Also go into iTunes preferences>playback and make sure that the sound enhancer is turned off. For some reason the enhancer causes the stereo field to blur. Hope this helps... dkgross
also make sure you check your bounce preferences, especially on MP3's.
obrienmt20
heres what i was attempting...i took an mp3 instrumental ...and wanted to record high quality vocals on top of it (24 bit recording is what i did..thought that was the best you could do) i then tried to bounce it both as an MP3 and a wave file...both sounded bad (much lower quality than i get in logic. is it not possible to get high quality because i used an mp3 instrumental? obrienmt20
much lower quality vocals and it seems like the base spikes or is just too much in the second version even though it sounds real good in logic
