oceantracks
When "Create Take Folders" is chosen in Prefs, and REPLACE mode is activated, when you punch in on the fly with midi tracks, the program creates take folders, but I can't figure out how to quick swipe any of the takes. When you open the folder, you see all the takes, but can only choose one take. It's "either or" instead of bits of each. What I am missing here? Eric Wikman
Quick swipe doesn't work with Midi. Only as you say, with the complete region. Too bad.
oceantracks
Quick swipe doesn't work with Midi.Only as you say, with the complete region. Too bad. So why would it create all these partial takes (from where I punched in) ? That makes zero sense, since now you can't use any of it. Boy that's a huge oversight. I have to remember to turn off "create take folders" when recording midi I suppose..... thanks Tom
Eric Wikman
Well, since they won't give us .. "keep last pass only"... I use takes folders so I dont have to erase all those darn extra tracks from each pass. Please give us "keep last pass only" for midi & audio cycle recording! steveH
Yeah, but you can cut up each pass and create a comp by muting the regions you don't like and then choose "move selected regions to current track" command to consolidate your MIDI comp.
